HDTV

So I just spent $4,000 on a new 43" plasma HDTV and about equally the same amount on the speakers, install, and peripheral equipment you need. It turns out, I still need more shit!!! This high def thing is complicated and nobody gives you straight answers.

On top of that, if you are watching a channel that is not broadcast in HD, and you have a plasma HDTV, the picture looks like dirty ass! Go back to your tube TV and its much better. As of now, Comcast only has a handful of HD channels and so does Direct TV. They say they will be adding more and more...but I want it now.

This whole process has been bittersweet but I think I'll feel much better when I watch the NFL opener, Oakland at New England. If I can only get a function to permanently delete Chris Berman, I would be ecstatic!!!
