Dude named Matt...

So we hired this guy named Matt at my work and now I have to train him more or less. That's all good....Sometimes it slows be down, but its all part of the deal. So Matt is 27 and played baseball in college and id generally a cool dude. We are a pretty conservative thinking company and he is a little more left of center, which is actually good for a change. I mean, I got into a debate with a Rush Limbaugh clone in my office the other day about global warming. He basically was denying it like the skinheads deny the holocaust. That's the kind of high school regurgitation I hear all the time. Don't get me wrong...I am generally conservative, but you need to keep an open mind. This global warming thing deserves a post of its own.

So this kid Matt is a good sounding board and we can make fun of 80% the company without them even getting it. To make him more cool, we got on the subject of the great PBS show, Austin City Limits...he started bringing up a lot of music I'm a fan of like Robert Earl Keen, Wilco, and Charlie Robinson. He even brought up the great Pat Green and how is new music is a joke, but his early stuff was cool. The best thing is this guy is born and raised in California. It was al,almost he heard me talking about the music and just repeated what I had once said.

Anyway....pointless....but if I can't write about it here, who could I tell. Its not like anyone would actually want to listen to this story.
